Mast is hands-down one of the best Italian restaurants I've experienced outside of Naples. From the moment you walk in, the vibrant atmosphere and warm hospitality transport you straight to Southern Italy. The wood-fired pizzas are perfection--crispy yet tender crust with just the right amount of char, and toppings that burst with freshness and flavor. I had the Margherita D.O.P. and the Diavola, and both were exceptional--simple, balanced, and true to Neapolitan tradition. The pasta dishes are equally divine--especially the Cacio e Pepe and Spaghetti alle Vongole, which tasted like they were made by a Nonna back home. Their wine list features incredible Italian selections that pair beautifully with the food, and the craft cocktails are innovative without losing that Italian soul. Service was impeccable--friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food. If you're craving a slice of Naples in Boston, Mast is the real deal. I'll be back again and again. Bravissimi!

Great find! My group was looking for something close to our hotel (Parker House) and came across Mast. Food was really good. Calzone had great crust and was huge. Could have shared. I had a pasta dish, Pici, that was phenomenal. Fresh house made pasta and a delicious cream sauce. Nate was our server. Very attentive and helpful

We loved the food at Mast! We ordered a margarita pizza to share and really enjoyed it. It was a bit saucy, but it made the crust that much better to eat at the end (especially when we're used to dipping our crusts in olive oil and balsamic vinegar). We got a few different cocktails and appreciated them as well. For desert, we ordered two to share. My personal favorite was the chocolate cake, which had some sort of chocolate mousse in it, making it very moist! We made a reservation for 7 but unfortunately had to wait until about 7:10/7:15 for our table to be ready since there were still customers eating. At least we didn't get turned away like some others who came in without a reservation! Make sure to plan ahead on a busier evening! The wait staff was very attentive to start the night, with two women visiting our table within 10 minutes to check on us and get orders. However, after our food was delivered, we didn't see our wait staff. We had to get up from our table to go find them. The restaurant itself was pretty crowded, which also turned the noise level up quite a bit. Once the evening started getting later and others began to leave, it felt a lot more peaceful!

I was in the mood for pizza while I was in Boston and decided to explore what was near my hotel in Downtown Crossing. I came across MAST', a Neapolitan-style pizzeria, and decided to give it a try. Walking in and seeing the wood-fired stove, I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered the prosciutto, arugula, and tomato pizza, and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza had a perfect balance of flavors, with the prosciutto, arugula and the tomatoes. The crust was just right - crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. This meal deathly reminded me of my time and Napoli last fall.

Tried this place one night for dinner since it was close by. Not a huge place and you have to go up stairs to the upstairs dining room. They have a big garage door rep that was opened and we had a good breeze. I have to say that the service was spotty. The manager or owner was great but our waitress was lacking. Manager had to take our drink order after sitting for a while. We ordered our food and she never stopped back for refills but gave us our bill. I had the Cannelloni and the wife had a margarita pizza the food was good, decent portions.

This is AUTHENTIC Italian pizza. This is no california whatever someone made up stuff. Try the Napoli pizza if you want great flavor and don't mind anchovies. It was amazing! The depth of flavor with the olives, garlic, melted cheese, oregano. Beautiful. My wife had the Saporita with homemade sausage and broccoli rabe. It was very good but she liked the flavor of the Napoli even better. She also got a gluten free crust. It was the best gluten free crust that she had ever had. I had the regular crust with my Napoli. I rarely eat pizza crust and I ate every bite! The service was good. The staff smiled and was very helpful.

Mast's menu is a celebration of Mediterranean culinary tradition, featuring everything from fresh salads to mouthwatering pizzas and hearty secondi. Start your meal with the Rughetta Arugula Salad, which combines the peppery greens with a zesty blueberry vinaigrette and nutty roasted almonds for a refreshing experience.
